Or Call Us NowGorilla Exterior Cleaning cleans hotel and resort glass across Los Angeles and Orange County, from the Long Beach waterfront and the LAX corridor to the Anaheim resort district and the Newport and Huntington coast. We are a licensed and insured family operation, and our shop is in Long Beach.
Hotels live and die on a review score that is mostly built out of photographs. A guest opens the curtain, sees the view they paid for, and either takes the picture or does not. Salt haze and water spotting on a guest room window do not read to that guest as a maintenance schedule. They read as a hotel that does not keep up.
The same logic runs down the whole property. Lobby glass under the porte-cochere is the first surface a guest looks through after a flight. Restaurant and bar frontage sells the room to people walking past it. Balcony and lanai glass is the part of the room a guest actually touches. None of it is a big line item. All of it is visible in a photograph that outlives the stay.
A coastal hotel and an airport hotel have completely different glass, and treating them the same is why some properties never look right. On the water, the load is salt aerosol. It arrives constantly, it bonds to glass, and once it combines with sprinkler overspray it becomes a mineral film that ordinary washing smears rather than removes. Coastal frontage in Long Beach, Newport and Huntington earns a tighter rotation than anything inland, and that is not upselling, it is just what the ocean does.
Inland and along the LAX corridor the load is jet and traffic exhaust, which settles as a fine greasy carbon film. It needs a degreasing step to release. Wash it with plain water and you get a clean-looking pane that goes hazy the moment the light hits it at an angle, which is precisely when a guest is looking through it.
The porte-cochere is the shared problem. Vehicles idle under it all day, so entry glass, the canopy soffit and the adjacent lobby panes take the heaviest and greasiest load on the entire property. It is also the single most photographed spot on most hotels.
Hotel glass cannot be scheduled like office glass, because your busy season is the season the glass most needs to look right. The route gets built around occupancy patterns and event calendars, and the guest-facing surfaces carry the frequency.
| Surface | Typical Rhythm |
|---|---|
| Porte-cochere & lobby entry glass | Weekly or biweekly, detailed every visit |
| Restaurant, bar & retail frontage | Monthly, aligned to the outlet hours |
| Coastal guest room exteriors | Monthly to quarterly, salt drives the interval |
| Inland guest room exteriors | Quarterly |
| Balcony & lanai glass | Quarterly, coordinated with housekeeping |
| Pool deck enclosure & windscreens | Monthly in season |
| Pre-inspection, brand audit or event prep | On demand, single visit |
We build the calendar backwards from your high season and your brand inspection dates, so the property peaks when it is being looked at rather than a month afterward.
Exterior glass is cleaned with water-fed poles carrying purified water from the ground. Nothing is left on the pane to dry into spots, no lift blocks your arrival lane, and no guest walks past a coned-off entrance on the way to check in.
That method reaches exterior glass to three stories. Plenty of Southern California hotel stock sits inside that: the low-rise coastal properties, the garden-style resorts, the two and three story inns, and the ground-level public areas of taller buildings. Above three stories we are direct about it. We do not run high-rise rope access or swing stage work, so on a tower we clean the lobby level, the outlets, the porte-cochere and the podium and we tell you the upper floors need a different contractor. We would rather hand you an honest scope than a bid we cannot stand behind.
Guest-facing conduct is part of the job. Crews work quietly, keep equipment out of arrival sightlines, and coordinate balcony access with housekeeping so nobody is surprised. We are licensed and insured with 109 five-star Google reviews, a certificate of insurance goes in your file before the first visit, and the same crew returns each rotation.
Spotless lobby glass above a stained arrival walkway is a half-finished property. Most hotel clients bundle the exterior under one scope and one invoice. Browse every commercial service we run, or start with the pairings resorts ask for most.
